How to customise your Showit template in 3 easy steps

Ready to customise your showit template to reflect your unique brand? Here's three easy steps to customising your Showit template of choice.

STEP ONE - Colours

Have your brand colour palette handy, taking note of the HEX codes. A hex code has a hashtag followed by six digits, like this: #FFFFFF.

If your brand colour palette doesn't include HEX codes, it's easy to transform them. Use a site like https://coolors.co/ or W3 Schools to convert your colours using the codes you have been given, or in the case of coolors, you can even use screenshots.

Go into Showit and use your HEX codes to change shape colours, background colours, buttons and text using the design settings palette.

STEP TWO - Fonts

If you have a custom brand font that you use, you can easily add it into your Showit site. You will need to go to a site like Transfonter and convert your font to a WOFF file first. Once you have done that, you can upload the font into your Showit design library, and begin using on your website.

STEP THREE- Images

The final step for customising your site is to add in your own imagery! Whether it's stock imagery or brand photography, your images will quickly transform the look and feel of your site. Collect all of your images in a folder. Go to TINY PNG and optimise all the images for web. Use Unsplash if you need extra stock photos.Upload all imagery into the media section of Showit and substitute the existing images in the template for your imagery.
